We caught up with Marco Boer at the unveiling of the Océ LabelStream 4000. Canon is entering the label and packaging market with a high-end, hybrid system targeting adhesive label applications. Marco provides a great overview of what was learned in Germany.
The five color, white plus CMYK, press featuring Xaar 2001+ UV printheads. It is a truly industrial scale press with integrated inkjet and flexo printing and a complete inline finishing system including embellishments. The LabelStream will be available first in Europe at the end of 2018.
