Not all coated paper dries at the same rate. Each side of the paper can also have different dry/cure rates with aqueous or UV inks. If you are using inkjet coated or primed offset coated paper, papers can have different porosity levels on each side of the sheet. You will find ink will flow and dry at different rates per paper side. When testing coated papers on inkjet devices, be sure to understand how speeds, drying/curing and profile settings can affect each side differently. Test each paper using a controlled fingerprint to determine how each ink dries and determine all your ink limiting, profile TAC and press settings on the side which shows the slowest drying.
