We are reporting on 12 installations in January, up from 9 sites in December. (The majority (9) were in the US, with two in France and one in England. An interesting installation covered this month was the Canon VarioPrint iX3200 installed at Ingenidoc in France. The company replaced their VarioPrint 1300 and notes that the target market is “on-demand desktop publishing” which seems to be automated e-printing of typical “copy shop” work. Of course this type of work is not new, but it is unusual to see that description attached to an inkjet installation and . . .
